Selgrade Construction came to our home and consulted us on options available to us to mitigate our high levels of radon. ****** was very informative and confident that we could get a system installed at a reasonable price, that would reduce our radon levels to a safe level. Within a few days of acceptance of their proposal, ****** and **** came and installed a system in just a few hours. They did a fantastic job, everything straight, level, well secured, and professional in appearance. After a couple of days of opposition, our radon levels dropped from the high teens to less than 4.0 pCi/l. We are very happy with their work and I would highly recommend them to anyone!!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SELGRADE Construction FOR RADON INSTALLATION OR REPAIR.
I contacted Selgrade Construction as it was on my list but when I contacted another person who no longer worked for a different company - he strongly encouraged me to contact Thomas Selgrade. When I contacted Selgrade, within hours, after we had a question and answer conversation, I was provided with an estimate. Another company provided with the same information only made an appointment to have someone come out to my home in 6 weeks. I had explained I had a preplumbed system going into my attic, with power lines - Selgrade automatically knew what the job would entail and provided an estimate. The nice thing was after arriving when they said they would (Would be here after Noon hour from another job and would call beforehand - they did, and got here at 1:30 as they advised that day) getting the job completed, he adjusted the bill lower - because the electric for the fan was already in place, hot, and they did not have to do the electric fusebox work. Thomas showed with two others - they were all very respectful and immediately went to work assessing the job and getting it done. He explained what he was doing, the warranty I got with the fan and what/how I could tell the system was working and what to do if it showed it was not. Very Satisfied and would recommend to everyone.

Since our basement is often occupied, I thought it'd be a good idea to install radon mitigation. My co-worker referred this company to me. I reached out to them, and Thomas responded to me promptly. We then discussed price and installation date. On the installation day, he and his team arrived on time, installed things professionally, and then provided me with a walk-through of the finished product, and finally answered any questions that I had. Fast forward to about 5 months later, I contacted them again to get advice on what to do with the radon pipe now that I'm planning to finish that area to a bedroom. He still responded to me questions quickly and provided useful recommendations that I can share with the contractor who would work on finishing that space. If you are looking for a professional radon installation at a reasonable price with great customer service, I'd highly recommend this company!

If you have any concerns about radon in your house, you should call Selgrade Construction immediately! We recently bought a house that had some scary levels of radon in the basement. Selgrade provided a clear and thorough quote for the installation of an active radon mitigation system, and we were able to get a time for them to come out within a few weeks. Thomas and Nick were prompt, respectful, and you could tell they knew what they were doing. After Thomas walked me through the pros and cons of several options for the location of the system, they went to work. I figured it would take half the day, but they were done in around 3 hours. They did an incredible job installing the system, and they left zero mess where they worked (which is a luxury I didn’t know I wanted until owning a house). They didn’t charge us as penny over the quote, and Thomas walked us through how to use a free follow-up radon test. We could not be happier with the radon mitigation system Selgrade Construction installed, and we have such peace of mind knowing that we aren’t subjecting ourselves to dangerous levels of radon anymore!
